My dear sons and daughters..my sincere greetings to you with the beginning of the academic year 2022/2023, wishing you continued success, repayment and success…I raise my hand to the honorable Creator to direct your steps towards a future filled with knowledge and knowledge…success requires replacing habits for learning instead of giving up…gratitude instead of Complaining… guides instead of bad friends… taking responsibility instead of blaming others… physiotherapy is a health service to provide assistance to everyone who needs it…. and I thank everyone who has devoted love to his work.

The Faculty of Physical Therapy, Merit University, aspires to be a pioneer in the field of education and scientific research locally and regionally, and an active and supportive element in the sustainable development of society.
Mission
“Scientific, moral and cultural building for students, and nurturing talents, to prepare a distinguished graduate who is able to compete and keep pace with the needs of the local and regional labor market, through distinguished educational, research and community services.”
Faculty Objectives
The faculty aims to improve the specifications of Physical Therapy graduates in order to meet the requirements of the local and regional labor market through a set of sub-goals that can be summarized as:
A distinguished innovative graduate with a strong personality who is able to compete locally and regionally.
Upholding good values and morals and fueling the spirit of citizenship.
Upgrading scientific research and encouraging continuous education.
Providing distinguished health, medical and community service and developing the general culture of society
Scientific Departments
The Faculty of Physical Therapy «Merit University» consists of five scientific departments:
- Department of Basic Sciences
- Department of physical therapy for internal medicine
- Department of physiotherapy for bones
- Department of physiotherapy for women’s and children’s health
- Department of Neurological Rehabilitation
Degree Awarded
The Faculty of Physical Therapy «Merit University» awards a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
Language and System of Study
Studying at the Faculty of Physical Therapy – Merit University is mainly in English, and it is allowed to teach some courses in Arabic after the approval of the University Council based on the proposal of the Faculty Council.
Duration of Study
The duration of study in the faculty is five academic years, in addition to one year of advanced training (excellence).
